Oil spiked to a hundred and nineteen dollars before settling near a hundred and nine. That’s not just a number on a screen. That’s your gas bill. Your grocery bill. Your heating costs. Everything you touch is about to get more expensive.
Meanwhile, the Federal Reserve sat there on Wednesday and basically said: “Yeah, inflation’s running hotter than we expected — 2.7% — and we’re not doing much about it.” One rate cut for the whole year. That’s it. No cavalry coming.
And gold? Gold’s sitting around $4,717 an ounce. It pulled back a little this week — the talking heads on TV will tell you that means gold is done. But zoom out.
